A cognac developed by bartenders… it must make for some great cocktails!
In a week or two you’ll find a brand new cognac on the shelf of the Vinmonopoly. By Braastad Cocktail Edition is developed in collaboration with four of Norways best bartenders, Anne Maurseth, Truls Thomsen, Niclaes Norstad and Jørgen Dons. The later did just place 12th in World Class, so these people know what they are doing. The cognac is blended to match an array of cocktails with a slightly higher alcohol by volume (45 % ABV), but it is also great to drink alone tasting of honey, liquorish and vanilla. Rosemary and the deerhunters joined the bartenders for an outdoor event to taste By Braastad in some cocktails paired with food. See the video below and get in the mood with a twist on the classic Sazerac.
